Modest Workout Clothes | My Top 5 Tips!

hey guys welcome back to my channel myname is Lena if you're new I makefashion beauty and lifestyle videos andI would love for you guys to stickaround so please subscribe today I'mfilming a video that I have been wantingto film for such a long time and that isgoing to be my tips for dressingmodestly at the gym to be honest when Ifirst started wearing hijab the gym wasthe biggest struggle for me hands downand dressing modestly the gyms typicallyjust not the place people go and wearfull coverage and just dress modestlyit's just that's just not the place sowearing full coverage was really reallyintimidating to me so I really hope thatthis video it gives you guys somepractical tips and makes you guys feel aconfident when going to the gym or whenworking out in public so I hope that youguys saw this video and it let's getstarted[Music]so tip number one is to find yourself agood pair of joggers joggers are myfavorite workout pant because they'resuper practical as a new hijab' when Iwas trying to find clothes to go to thegym I would wear these loose like wineleg yoga pants to be honest they weren'tsuper practical for me because if I wasdoing any kind of yoga pose where mylegs were up in the air I found that thefabric just wrote down my leg and my legwas exposed and I just felt like whatthe heck I'm not covered so joggers arethe perfect solution for me becausethey're gonna keep my leg covered andthey're still modest and don't show yourfigure I found a bunch of cute joggersfrom Nike and then I also found somereally cute ones from sweaty Betty I'lllink everything down below in thedescription box and the ones from sweatybuddy are made out of yoga pant materialso they're perfect for working out I gotthe gray ones but they also come inblack as well and the ones from Nike aresuper thin they're so good for runningor any cardio or anything so I foundsome really good stuff and I'll link allthat down below number two I want totalk to you guys about what kind ofhijab to wear to the gym and I'm wearingthe Nike hijab today this is notsponsored but I just recently discoveredthese I know they've been out for areally long time but I honestly reallyreally like it I'm not a hundred percentlike in love with the design details ofit I do think it could be better thisseam at the top is kind of weird and Iwas telling you guys earlier on my instastory that yes I do think I look like ashark but it's so practical you guys itis one piece you just slip it on it'sthe perfect material thin and you justlike slip it on and go it looks a littlebit better when you have a hood on likeif that's something that you're worriedabout definitely fine so I'm kind of ashirt or a hoodie or something that youcan wear and just make it look a littlebit more flattering but I don't knowguys I feel like it's like a gamechanger when it comes to wearing likemodest workout clothes before the Nike -job I used to wear Jersey jobs to thegym there's nothing wrong with Jerseyit's super comfortable but it's notreally that practical because it's madeout of cotton which doesn't wick sweatso it would just get really like hot andlike wet feeling around my face and sothat was just not practical for me sothat's why I'm recommending to you guysthe Nike job I think it's superpractical if you guys have any tips forhijabs to wear to the gym leave themdown below in the comments I would loveto hear from you guys and I'm sure thateveryone else that would appreciate thetip as well tip number three is to tie along-sleeve running shirt around yourwaist I promise you this is like thebest tip that I could ever give you whenyou're doing squats when you're doinglunges anything where your bottom isjust like exposed and you just feel likeit's out and open this is just gonnaconceal everything and just make youfeel so much more comfortable and it'slike super like cute and you just feellike effortless like I just had my shirtaround my waist and this is just like ano big deal and it just makes you feelit's so much more comfortable[Music]tip number four is finding a lightweightlong-sleeved hoody and this will beanother really cute way to cover yourhair at the gym it's a little bit morelike effortless looking and a little bitmore like you are not really trying toohard to cover yourself if that makes anysenseso I found this one from Lululemon Ialso found a bunch of cute ones fromNike so I'll link everything down belowin the description box one way that youcould wear it is by wearing an underscarf like a bonnet and then justfinding a hoodie shirt and then justzipping it up and you are good to go[Music]tip number five is to pay attention tothe fabric content so when you'relooking for your long sleeve tops oryour joggers or your hijabs definitelypay attention to what the material ismade out ofI personally it would stay away fromanything made out of cotton or Jerseythese materials are breathable but theyare not water wicking and sweat wickingso they're gonna keep that moisture andit's just gonna you know you're gonnahave sweat stains it's just not gonna bea good look the fabrics that you want tolook for or anything that has apolyester blend or a lycra blendanything that has spandex or nylon thoseare the materials that are really goingto be sweat wicking anything that says adry fit or anything that has like theword dry in it is going to be at yourbest betall right guys those are my top fivetips for dressing modestly at the gym Ihope that you guys got something out ofthis video and if you have any more tipsplease leave them down below in thecomments I love you guys so much and Iwill see you guys in my next video bye
